In order to realize Amadys’ ambitions, we are seeking an operational/tactical-minded, hands-on Purchase Coordinator to manage and organize our local Procurement & Supply Chain organization related to distribution of material and full supported projects within the Telecom domain. The position will report to the Operations Director of Amadys Telecom Belgium and the VP Telecom Procurement. You will be the linking pin between our suppliers, the local S&OP and central Procurement.
Job description
- You will be part of the local Operations team (hierarchical) and the central Procurement team (functional) and effectively manage and support all procurement & supply chain related business for the Belgian business unit and periodically prepare internal calls and meetings with the teams
- You contribute to and work according to the guidelines and objectives of the central Procurement team
- You are the single point of contact for the local team for al procurement (pricing), supply chain (lead times, capacities) and logistics (warehouse, transportation) matters
- You will lead local RFQ’s or price requests, optionally involve central procurement, prepare comparison sheets and provide the sales team on time with the requested information
- You will coordinate the operational ordering processes (order-driven/stock-driven material supplies)
- You create purchase orders and take care of purchase administration
- You will monitor supplier performance in line with the central agreements (vendor rating) and take care of the quality of deliveries
- You will work on planning and forecast information for our projects in cooperation with the central Supply Chain Manager and coordinate the outbound of project material
- You will follow-up projects together with the project coordinators or sales teams and find the right balance between excellent service and financial targets (JIT principle, inventory)
- You manage current purchase pricing in our ERP application (SAP)
- You take care of inventory management (BE locations: Sint-Job, Thimister, Temse, Hoogstraten)
- You add value by defining and optimizing our processes, driven by continuous improvement and reporting to different stakeholders on key performance indicators
- You will mainly work from our local Belgian office in Sint-Job-in-‘t-Goor
Profile
- You have a bachelor degree or higher, or equal work experience
- You have 2+ year track record in a related operational/tactical role
- You are proficient in the use of ERP (SAP)
- You have a strong proficiency with MS Excel & Office 365 (PowerBI e.g.)
- Strong process development skills
- You are an excellent negotiator with good commercial skills
- Ability to effectively relate to and communicate with people across all levels of the organization
- Languages : Dutch & French, German is a plus
- You are dynamic, with a hands-on mentality, analytical and willing to learn
- You take initiative and are able to work independently with limited supervision

Om de ambities van Amadys waar te maken, zijn we op zoek naar een operationeel/tactisch ingestelde, hands-on Aankoop Coördinator om onze lokale Procurement & Supply Chain organisatie te beheren en te organiseren voor alles wat distributie van materiaal en projectondersteuning binnen het Telecom domein betreft. Je zal rapporteren aan de Operations Director van Amadys Telecom België en de VP Telecom Procurement. De Aankoop Coördinator is de linking pin tussen onze leveranciers, de lokale S&OP en de centrale Procurement afdeling.
Functiebeschrijving
- Je maakt deel uit van het lokale Operations team (hiërarchisch) en het centrale Procurement team (functioneel) en beheert en ondersteunt effectief alle procurement & supply chain gerelateerde zaken voor de Belgische business unit. Je bereidt periodiek interne calls en meetings met de teams voor
- Je draagt bij aan en werkt volgens de richtlijnen en doelstellingen van het centrale Procurement team
- Je bent het enige aanspreekpunt voor het lokale team voor alle inkoop (prijzen), supply chain (doorlooptijden, capaciteiten) en logistieke (magazijn, transport) zaken
- Je leidt lokale RFQ’s of prijsaanvragen, betrekt daarbij eventueel de centrale inkoop, stelt vergelijkingsbladen op en voorziet het verkoopteam tijdig van de gevraagde informatie
- Je coördineert de operationele bestelprocessen (ordergestuurde/voorraadgestuurde materiaalbevoorrading)
- Je maakt inkooporders aan en verzorgt de inkoopadministratie
- Je bewaakt de prestaties van leveranciers conform de afspraken (vendor rating) en draagt zorg voor de kwaliteit van de leveringen
- Je voorziet planning en forecasting informatie voor onze projecten in samenwerking met de centrale Supply Chain Manager. Je coördineert de outbound van projectmateriaal
- Je volgt projecten op samen met de projectcoördinatoren of verkoopteams en vindt het juiste evenwicht tussen uitstekende service en financiële doelstellingen (JIT-principe, voorraad)
- Je beheert actuele aankoopprijzen in onze ERP-applicatie (SAP)
- Je zorgt voor voorraadbeheer (BE locaties: Sint-Job, Thimister, Temse, Hoogstraten)
- Je voegt waarde toe door het definiëren en optimaliseren van onze processen, gedreven door continue verbetering. Je rapporteert aan verschillende stakeholders over key performance indicatoren
- Je werkt voornamelijk vanuit ons lokale Belgische kantoor in Sint-Job-in-’t-Goor
Profiel
- Je hebt een bachelor diploma of hoger, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
- Je hebt een bewezen staat van dienst van minimaal 2 jaar in een gelijkaardige operationeel/tactische inkoopfunctie
- Je bent bedreven in het gebruik van ERP (SAP) en hebt uitstekende vaardigheden in MS Excel & Office 365 (Power BI bijvoorbeeld)
- Je hebt sterke vaardigheden in procesontwikkeling
- Je bent een excellente onderhandelaar met goede commerciële vaardigheden
- Talen : Nederlands en Frans, Duits is een plus
- Je bent in staat om effectief om te gaan en te communiceren met mensen op alle niveaus van de organisatie
- Je bent dynamisch, met een hands-on mentaliteit, analytisch en bereid om te leren
- Je neemt initiatief en bent in staat om zelfstandig te werken met beperkte supervisie
